Teacher sign-in
The dashboard is for the teacher only.
Set a new one on the server: in the project folder, run npm run set:teacher-password and type the new password. Every browser signed in to the dashboard is signed out then.

Set up your cards
The server has no cards yet. How would you like to start?
No deck is switched on yet, so there’s nothing to track. Switch one on in the Decks tab.

Sessions to check
At least 5 cards at under 1.5 seconds each: too fast to have read them.
Each class has its own sign-in link. Share a class’s link with that class only — in Google Classroom, say. Students open it, sign in with their school Google account, and they’re in the right class without choosing anything. After that, they just sign in.
— to bring one back or delete it for good.
Students review every deck that’s switched on, all together in one session. A card can be in several decks — what a student knows about it carries over.
Every card you’ve made, in a deck or not. Students only see the cards in a deck that’s switched on, from the day you set.

Make your own tags (verb, noun, expression…) and put them on cards in the card editor. Then you can find cards by tag, or make a deck out of them.
Flip and rate: they see the word, then the answer, and rate how well they knew it.
Type the answer: they see the meaning (and picture) and type the word.
Mix of both: each card is one or the other. Weeks start on Monday.
